Claude is a filmmaker and photographer that reluctantly calls the Central Valley of California his home. He shot photos of Kids On A Crime Spree for this issue. He has been an active supporter of the independent music scene since 2001 and has produced his own video zine entitled Pop Song Romance for nearly 10 years. LEEAY AIKAWA – Illustrator

Leeay is a Toronto based illustrator originally from Japan. Her clients include The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, Atlantic, and Walrus. For this issue, she illustrated the butt wiggling piece somewhere near the back of the magazine. Leeay without collage is like a summer without beer on the patio. Leeay is excited to attend the Goodbye Boobies Party. A good friend of hers is getting a breast reduction.

Betty is based in Vancouver and Montreal. Aside from writing about music (specifically the Yuck piece in this issue), Betty is a student at Concordia University. She likes taking witty lines from good rap songs and inserting them into conversation (in an unsubtle way). Betty spends a lot of time on the internet, aka the black hole of information. Her three favorite things right now are: “free earl” t-shirts, feeling weird and the band Light Asylum. In the future she hopes to read Roseanne Barr’s book Roseannearchy and get inspired.
