OK GO | Upside Down And Inside Out [live chat]

OK GO's latest video for "Upside Down And Inside Out" was released last week, and if you would like to talk to the band about how the video was created, you can. The band will be doing a live Facebook Chat today, February 16th, at 1pm PST and a Reddit AMA tomorrow, Wednesday, February 17th at the same time to talk about the groundbreaking video.

Royal Mountain Records' crown jewel, Toronto band PUP, released a video today that is sure to play well with Generation X'ers who miss guzzling root beers and bags of Ruffles salt & vinegar (RIP, greatest chip ever made) on Saturday afternoons and getting an NES and/or Genesis controller all greasy; mostly because all Gen X'ers seem to do is sit around yakking about old cartoons, video games, and chocolate bars you can't buy anymore (which is exactly what I'm doing here, yes, I get that).

The Prism Prize "Top 20" announced

The Prism Prize announces the Top 20 best Canadian music videos of the year, as voted by a jury of more than 120 Canadian music, film and media arts professionals. After viewing hundreds of music videos released in 2015, jurors selected the Prism Prize "Top 20" based on originality, creativity, style, innovation and effective execution.

VIDEO OF THE DAY : Leon Bridges | River [Video]

2015 ION cover boy, Leon Bridges, is America's fastest rising music star, and for good reason. He seems to drip with authenticity and earnest devotion to soul music. Even the recordings have a certain talent for sounding exactly like the era he is aping (unlike the Steve Lillywhite-y, contemporary filter that the late Ms. Winehouse always had on her recordings).

Lila Rose | All The Beauty [audio]

Lila Rose claims to have an "ultrasound sensitivity", which is kind of like those "super tasters", who can't drink any booze except for mead (ed note: gross), and make those retching histrionics any time they accidentally eat cilantro, except it's with your ears and not your tongue. Apparently it's like a simultaneous curse and gift, but unlike those taste bud super humans, the rest of us get songs like this from Toronto-born, but California citizen, Lila Rose.

Grimes | Kill V Maim [video]

Grimes puts out her latest video for the song Kill V Maim, and it is what you would expect. Much like the video for "Genesis", Kill V Maim has the same glossy, Mad Max meets female dancers vibe going on, but this time it has a bit more of a Japanese art feeling to it. Quite a departure from her earlier videos, but not in a bad way. Let us know your thoughts.

EXCLUSIVE | Facts "Nerves" [Video]

We are pleased to bring you the exclusive premier of Facts' latest video for "Nerves", the first single off of the new EP, The Hunch. The video was directed by Ian Macdonald, and captures the turmoil of a mind riddled with anxiety. The viewer is taken on a surreal journey through an afflicted man’s thoughts, memories and imagination.

Hills Like Elephants | "Fall Through" EXCLUSIVE [audio]

San Diego quintet Hills Like Elephants return with the moody and introverted new single "Fall Through". The sound is a departure from their known brand of indie white-boy soul. After their ill-fated sophomore LP, they fell out with their previous record label which lead them into what they are now referring to as The Bedroom Sessions, which will be followed up by their 3rd LP which is being recorded at Lost Ark Studios.

We are proud to have the world premiere of Valleys remix of the song, “Hounds” by fellow Montrealers, Mozart’s Sister. “Hounds” is featured on Valleys new full-length, Are You Going To Stand There And Talk Weird All Night?, which was released on Kanine Records on April 30. The duo of Marc St.
