New Low Video for "Poor Sucker"

Low has been crafting beautiful and haunting songs since the early 90s and their latest album, Double Negative, is no exception. The record was released mid September through Sup Pop records and now Duluth’s finest have followed that up with a video for the single “Poor Sucker”. Directed by artist Karlos Rene Ayala, the clip features Low leader Alan Sparhawk getting made over by an off screen person. In true Low fashion this “makeover” is more of the kind you would expect to see done from Heath Ledger’s Joker than with any of the lovely people behind a MAC compact. With such a simple concept, the video is able to highlight the eerie allure of the track and leave that front and center in the viewers mind as the clip hypnotically fades to black.
