Video of the Day | HUMANS - "Water Water"

Local dance floor heroes and recent Mom + Pop signee’s HUMANS have unleashed the video for their new single "Water Water". Directed by Peter Ricq, this Red Violin-esque clip is a day in the life of a cleverly branded bomber jacket as a group of twentysomethings lend it, steal it and, most memorably, sleep with it.

As the bomber makes its way in and around some recognizable Vancouver locations, culminating at The Cobalt’s hit Monday night karaoke party, the true genius of this clip comes into focus. While for most, “Water Water” is only about some coat that’s been passed around, had some beer spilled on it and reeks of cigarettes, for the average young Vancouverite, the big Shyamalan twist here is, the jacket has been a stand in for them this entire time.
