Video of the Day | The Kills - "Siberian Nights," Directed by Giovanni Ribisi

Hollywood mainstay and occasional Friends character Giovanni Ribisi has taken up the task of directing a video for macabre ION favourites, The Kills, with their new video for "Siberian Nights". The video does what a good video is supposed to in 2016: it looks slick and it represents the band/music well. There are more wolves in it than an indie festival listing in 2006, and the whole aesthetic of throwback party people is a bit overdone, but one can make the case that The Kills are the band that made that popular in the first place, so it doesn't come across too disingenuous. The single is from the album Ash & Ice which comes out next week.
