Patrick Cummins | Full Frontal T.O.

For over 30 years photographer Patrick Cummins has been wandering the streets of his home town Toronto. Through his roaming, he has told the story of an evolving city, all with the power of his camera lens. In his book, Full Frontal T.O., Cummins has collated over a thousand mug shots of Toronto’s messy urbanism, giving a non-touristic and honest view of the city’s evolution. From it’s houses and garage graffiti, to variety shops and storefront advertising, to non-descript blocks of buildings, he has chronicled the same streets over the years, giving us a smorgasbord of visual history, and one book to house all the awesome photos he’s taken. Available through Coach House Books.
