The Cranberries Share New Single From Final Album

One year ago, the world was shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Cranberries lead vocalist Dolores O’Riordan. The veteran Irish rock 'n' roll act had been been writing and touring new material throughout the summer of 2017 and now they have announced the release of their final album In the End, which will be released worldwide on April 26th. Producer Stephen Street, who had worked on four of the previous Cranberries albums as well as records by The Smiths and Morrissey, helped take the demos that O’Riordan and bandmate Noel Hogan had recorded and built these songs around the vocal tracks she had previously laid down. The first single “So Over Now” is a slice of nostalgia for sure. The track doesn't stray far from the bands 90s output -- chiming, strummed guitars, buoyant bassline and pounding drums all held together by the beautifully ethereal vocals of O’Riordan. While the world may have lost a beloved musical icon a year ago, this is a fitting tribute to an amazing musician and a capper to her band's lustrous career.
