She & Him | I Could've Been Your Girl [VIDEO]

This morning, Zooey Deschanel premiered She & Him's latest video for their song "I Could've Been Your Girl" on her co-founded site, hellogiggles. She writes, "After seven years and four albums with She & Him, I figured it was about time I took a crack at making a video for a song I wrote."

Featuring M. Ward—the 'Him' of She & Him—as the boy, and Zooey as the "girl that could've been," the video gives a nod to some of Zooey Deschanel's favourite '60s musicals with sock hop choreography. The video also captures moments with the Director/Singer/Star holding random objects—the rubber ducky and piñata are pretty cute.
