We have never wanted to join a fitness club so much until seeing this collaboration. Making 'tight' a lifestyle, Lululemon Lab—Lululemon's hub for technical innovation rooted in collaborative creativity and functional fashion; a retail and design space in one, creating limited edition designs in Vancouver—has teamed up with Tight Club Athletics.

This Khatsahlano! Music + Art Festival is Vancouver’s biggest free music event, taking place on Saturday July 13. Celebrating the best of local music and artisans, this is basically a good excuse for one big street party. And why not! This year brings more than 50 acts across 10 stages and will have something for everyone. Spread across a 10-block radius along West 4th Avenue, there will also be plenty of other things to keep you entertained, with art, shopping and food amongst bustling patios and special events.

Switcheroo, a personal project by Vancouver-based, self-taught photographer, Hana Pesut, is an ongoing series where accomplices are photographed twice; once in their own outfits, and again wearing each others' outfits against the same background while mimicking the same pose as their partner from the first shot.

Louise Burns has saved us all the pain of having to edit our iTunes playlists by not changing her recording moniker even though she's nearly 180'ed her sound on her second effort, The Midnight Mass, and for that, we thank her. We also thank her for this glowing tribute to The Old Grey Whistle Test on her new video for lead single "Emeralds Shatter".

Tonight the Chinatown Night Market in Vancouver presents Night Vision, an outdoor renegade photography projection show featuring works from over 40 international and local artists, including Vancouver's famed, Fred Herzog.

The location may not scream cutting edge in urban cool, but the Burnaby Art Gallery’s Outreach Exhibitions beg to differ. Showcasing artwork from artists all across the nation, there are three off-site exhibitions taking place across Vancouver until July 9.

One song in, and you’re left to wonder “Why the hell has this guy been hiding out behind a drum kit his whole life?” Sure, Shawn Mrazek is establishing this as his proper solo debut, but not without the helping hands of, oh, you know a few members of Apollo Ghosts, Destroyer, and They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?. So, no, this isn’t really your average singer-songwriter fare: it’s zany, chaotic, and a bit of a mess, in the best possible way.
